Frequently asked questions

What are your fees?

My standard fee is $125 per 50-minute session. I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee spots based on financial need. If cost is a concern, feel free to reach out, and I’d be glad to talk more about what’s possible.

Do you take insurance?

I don’t accept insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill, which is a document you can submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend checking with your insurance to ask about coverage for out-of-network therapy services.

Do you offer sessions online or in-person?

Start by filling out the contact form on the “Getting Started” page of this website. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation so we can see if working together feels like a good fit. After that, I’ll send over next steps and the paperwork to get started.

What issues or concerns do you work with?

I work with clients navigating a wide range of concerns, including trauma, identity, burnout, spiritual questions, anxiety, grief, and the impact of injustice. You don’t need a perfect explanation for why you’re seeking therapy, we can figure that out together!

What if I’m not the person looking for therapy, but I’m reaching out on someone’s behalf?

That’s totally okay, and I’m glad you’re here. Please make a note on the contact form if you’re not the person seeking therapy, and share whatever you feel comfortable with. I’ll follow up to find out more and talk about next steps.
